Opportunity :

Strong commercial general contractor looking to continue growth in the Intermountain market. They have a large commercial project niche and are looking for Project Managers who enjoy rural project opportunities. This firm is based on quality self-performing work, preconstruction design and integrated project delivery. They have an excellent reputation for their work and more than 80% of their work is with repeat clients. They are a very focused design/build firm and put a lot of focus on their preconstruction and virtual design work. Many of their projects include mixed-use, office, hospitality, education, retail and technology. Candidates should have a focus on creating excellent relationships with internal employees, mentoring, finding and approving rural sub-contractors

Position :

Immediate need for an experienced Project Manager to help with large ongoing rural projects. Candidates must have experience leading project engineers and other team members in rural locations and have a proven track record of delivering projects on time and on budget. The successful candidate will have experience with coordinating all construction activities on large commercial projects including all documentation, managing team members, initial project plan, accountability and project status reviews, creating and implementing job schedules, cost controls, and quality. Candidates must have experience running several projects at one time. A proven track record of not only work history but project success and happy clients is essential. Candidates who are "jumpy" or have moved around and worked with several firms and have not shown long term commitment need not apply. Experience with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work assignments and follow a project from preconstruction through turn over to the client.

Qualifications :

Four year college degree in construction management/engineering field.

6+ years of project experience in construction and 3 years of Project Management experience with projects large than $5M.

Project experience with a track record of running projects successfully.

Proven work history, long term employment and no "jumpy" candidates.

Willingness to travel in Wyoming, Colorado, Utah, Idaho and other surrounding states.

Team player with strong work ethic, & ability to work with everyone on a project

Sound economic-thinking, analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to make sound, informed decisions.

Able to establish and maintain positive internal and external customer relations.

Compensation :

$100,000 - $120,000 (DOE) + bonus incentive plan.

Relocation (as needed).

Monthly car allowance and company gas card.
