Job Description

Our client, an established privately owned $200M Heavy Civil/Public Works Contractor seeks a Project Director with a Four Year Technical Degree and 10+ years’ experience in Heavy Civil Construction. They rank in the Top 10 Solar Contractors and operate in multiple regions across the United States with a focus on Renewable Energy (ie. Solar, wind), Aviation, Site Development, Waste Water Plants and Underground Utilities. This candidate must have extensive experience in solar, earthwork, underground utilities and site development and be able to manage multiple sites simultaneously. This position is based in their regional office in Ramsey, Minnesota.

 

Job Summary:

The right candidate will be responsible to develop, grow and maintain profitable segments, from the project lead stage through preconstruction, construction and closeout. Ensures operational excellence in the execution of all required policies and procedures by the segments employees while maintaining a relentless focus on meeting and exceeding customer needs and expectations. Responsible for building and implementation of a business plan for success of segment and company goals.

  • Proficiency with MS Office programs including Word, Excel and Outlook preferred.

Education and Experience:

  • GED or High School diploma as a minimum.
  • BS degree in construction management preferred.
  • Fifteen (15) + years of Heavy Civil / Horizontal Construction experience required.
  • Ten (10) years of management experience required.
