About Doug

37 years in the construction industry. My career began as a laborer after serving four proud years as a United States Marine. I quickly picked up on setting grade and spent the next ten years as an Operator/Grade setter which lead to being a Grade Setting Instructor/Operator Trainer at the Operating Engineers Union Hall. I have served as Project Foreman, Project Superintendent, General Superintendent, Estimator, and Project Manager.

I have used Gary at PCG as my recruiter since 2014. The opportunity arose to become an Executive Recruiter to use my experience in assisting others.

What I love about recruiting:

This position is exciting for me because I am accustomed to being the “Recruited” rather than the “Recruiter”. I am hoping to rewrite the narrative to what I wanted the most as a “Recruited Candidate”. I want to make sure the position fits the candidate by interviewing the company as much as the applicant.
