Opportunity :

Growing commercial general contractor looking to expand in the Dallas area. This contractor has over 20+ years of experience and currently does over $300M annually. They have a large backlog of ground up projects and are forecasting tremendous growth over the next 5+ years. They currently have open projects in recreation, education and healthcare. This firm is based on quality self-performing work and has excellent relationships with clients. They provide excellent design/build and preconstruction services. They’ve recently received several local and national awards for their projects. Candidates should have a focus on creating excellent relationships with internal employees, sub-contractors, and other vendors as this is very important to this management team.

Position : Immediate need for a Superintendent to help with large ongoing projects. Experience in recreational, educational or healthcare projects would be a bonus. Projects experience with projects from $5M to $20M is required. Must be able to meet face to face with clients, hold effective meetings with sub-contractors and own the projects from start to finish. Creating an excellent environment with open communication is essential. The successful candidate will have experience with coordinating all construction activities on large commercial projects. Candidates must have experience running large projects, creating and managing their own CPM schedules, and managing large crews. A proven track record of not only work history but project success is essential. Candidates who are "jumpy" or have moved around and worked with several firms and have not shown long term commitment need not apply. Experience with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work assignments and follow a project from preconstruction through punch-list
